Cohen. During his clerkship, Eric Sorice handled a variety of cases on appeal, including criminal and post conviction cases, and assisted the judges on the Court in reaching their decisions. He gained valuable experience relating to appellate practice and procedure while working alongside the appellate court judges.<\/p>\n<p>Eric Sorice joined Ponall Law in November 2022. Since joining the firm, he has successfully represented clients on direct appeal, in motions for post conviction relief, and in cases involving extraordinary writs. He graduated 5th overall in his law school class. While in law school, he served as a Note\/Comment Editor on the Law Review Editorial Board and as Chief Justice of the Moot Court Honors Board. Mr. Sorice took first place in two national moot court competitions and earned Book Awards for the highest grade in several courses, including Legal Research &#038; Writing, Civil Procedure, Federal &#038; Florida Evidence, and First Amendment.
